I'm reading the rules for Hearts & Minds (I'm actually recording it as well and if it turns out okay I'll publish it to soundcloud for folks.)
In it, the campaign card section must be wrong in my mind.
If I'm the Americans and I play a Zone I Campaign Card. Once that's done, it's removed from the game.
If I play that in 1967, that means that in the final 8 years of the war I only get 3 more Campaigns? For some reason, that strikes me as odd...mainly in the "that's odd in my head and must be my bad rule interpretation..." rather than the "those dummy designers!" kind of wrong.
Thanks for the help!

I'll freely admit my next question is based solely on ignorance...
Is it even possible for the Allied side to win this game given the disparity in mechanics through which hawk status can be earned?
I don't mind playing an uneven game, in fact, I'd dislike the game if it were skewed in such a way to pervert actual history to facilitate an overwhelming allied victory - but competitive gaming is important. I want to feel like I'm affecting the outcome of the game.

I don't really know. I came away with less feeling that it was hopeless than I have with the VG game on the subject.
