Just wondering...

We don't play very many different ones, but when we find something we like we stick to it. We've basically been playing almost nothing but Borderlands 2 since it came out with a mixture of some of the different Gears of War stuff (mostly Wednesday night horde night with GoW3).

Mostly computer wargames for me, though my FPS tends to run toward the Battlefield / ARMA experience rather than Borderlands.

Thanks to Gog.com I reconnected with 'Operation:Flashpoint' a while back (the progenitor of ArmA - and the only version that will run smoothly on my feeble rig). I still think that the 'Resistance' expansion was outstanding.

I like the RPG/FPS type of mixtures like Fallout3, Skyrim, The Witcher - going all the way back
to Daggerfall. One of my biggest hooks was Mount & Blade, fairly early on in its process (I think
the game forum there was my first online hangout forum).

I was heavily addicted to 'Mount and Blade: Warband' a while back. That, and 'Gothic'.

Gothic was cool. I picked that up after M&B.

Couldn't get into Gothic3 though. I think some of the other games spoiled me.

Daggerfall - Skyrim
Mass Effect (all)
Dragon Age (1 much better than 2)
The Witcher 1 and 2
Borderlands 2 (not really a FPS guy anymore but Handsome Jack is very funny)
Gothic series
Baldur's Gate
Icewind Dale
Divinity (now playing Original Sin)

Basically a huge RPG guy.  Very much enjoy them.

Tried too many MMO's to count - favorite was and still is Dark Age of Camelot.

I usually waffle between PC gaming and console gaming.  These days it's probably 70% PC/30% console.

I love CRPGs, even though I don't have as much time to devote to them as I'd like.  I picked up Divinity: Original Sin recently and really like it.
I'm also a sucker for Action RPGs like Diablo.  I've been playing a lot of Diablo III and working on getting every class to 70th level.  Just have the Wizard and Monk left.
Civ like strategy games is another genre I really like, although Civ 5 is the one I've spent the most time with recently.
I used to play an unhealthy amount of World of Warcraft, but broke that habit a couple years ago.

I've also been playing the original Infamous on the PS3.  No plans to pick up a PS4 in the near future, but probably will at some point.
