My last forum experiment

So, the last time I set up a forum was for refugees from the AS site I mentioned.
There had been a real division over an attempt to really have a web democracy on
that site, and I left in disgust when they basically voted away their democracy.

The new site was set up with the idea that EVERYONE who was trusted was
made a full site admin. Didn't go terribly well: one person (not added by me)
deleted everything and held the site hostage for a while. Then later, as time went
on, one of our spammier little members went and changed everything so it was
essentially unusable (names of sections and such). It died a slow death after that.

Interesting experiment though. It essentially turned into a cliquey little group where
everyone could really trust one another (I guess). Although some of the personal
trolling got so bad that a few people left.

I'm calling it now. We'll get big enough to have our own convention, F**k It All Con. And we'll laugh how the Christian came up with the name.

I just want to say thank you for making us a new home. The double standard at BGG has finally just worn me down. Glad to have a place to actually talk.
