Werd filter pisses me off.
The captcha for signing up - got an email from someone else who had a hard time with it
Can't turn it off or reconfigure it. I had to use the audio captcha to get through it.
The site admin sucks.

Having to post before uploading or linking an avatar is sucky. Not knowing that until _after_ typing everything out is worse.
+1 for word filters pissing people off.

Anyway there are two options: The Board Default and the Site Default. Right now, both are the same.
Also, I hate those ads in the middle of the threads.

Well, now I've screwd the style up, and dunno how to get it back.
Thought it could offer more options.

I like it. You can change back to the original by using the SMF Default Theme - Core option. EDIT: This ones pretty nice too. That wasn't working, I think. |

Ok - nice thing about SMF that I like:
quotes are directly linked to what they are quoted from if you generate them
with the 'Reply' option. This can be really helpful in navigating long threads.
It can also help if you use such quotes to launch new discussions in fresh
threads, in order to discover the context.

Those captchas are really bad, but at least we don't have to use them every time we post. Another group I'm with makes you use the captchas each time you post a message. I don't post too much there.

This annoys me because of my CDO, but it doesn't automatically put a line return when you quote someone. BGG does auto-insert a return after a quote, so I either end up with an extra line break there or no line break at all here.
