I like 3Ms Win, Place, and Show well enough I suppose, but I'm curious about opinions on some of the newer designs.
Ah, and on a more violent note - Circus Minimus is far better than the AH game it's based on.

I like Winners Circle, and Longshot, but I like those mostly for the betting than anything else. I also like Ave Caesar, it is very simple, but I like how it can be cutthroat if you choose to play it that way. I tend towards lighter race games, but I haven't played that many.

Our Ave Caesar games tend to be very brutal, but we never play with less than 5, I think. It suffers if you don't have enough players.

Even WP&S gets pretty dull if you don't have many people.
It too is a betting game as much as a racing one.
