I like a lot of his games. Dude's an **** though. I bought a game from him awhile back and we exchanged a few e-mails. He was pretty funny and pleasant during the exchange.

I think he's also referred to himself as the Pope of wargaming. Generally he seems to just suffer from a case of old man crankypants, combined with what I'd describe as a "big" personality. I've also bought a game from him before and he was perfectly pleasant.

Give Me Liberty gets very little respect. It was one of many 3W titles that were rushed into publication without adequate (any?) development. However, I've really enjoyed it, and if you can get past all the rough spots there's a really fun game there.
