How do you upload an image here? I've tried a couple of times. Ain't got a clue. It doesn't allow you to browse or paste them.

If you reply (rather than the quick reply) there is an option to attach a file. An example of how that looks is below. You can also go to your gallery and upload things that way. Outside of that, if you just want to display an image from the web the normal bb img tag works. Click the little painting looking thingy in the toolbar:  |

What and how do you get an image in there. Totally clueless. everywhere else on the interweb it allows you to browse and grab an image. Not here. |

When you click the image icon, it inserts: [img][/img] Then you put the url of the image you want to share, like so [img]http://www.nausicaa.net/miyazaki/soundtracks/sen/Sen_Image_Picture_Disc.jpg[/img] When put outside a code block, it displays:  One little trick is to quote someone's post, in order to see how they use formatting tools. There is probably bbcode which is supported here, but doesn't have a little icon to auto-insert it. |

I just tried posting an image with the URL code. Still doesn't work. If I can find a way to post images here I may use this site. User friendly it isn't.

When you click "reply" in a thread, you'll see a link that says "Additional Options" underneath the reply field. Click that and, along with the check boxes for "Notify me of replies" "return to this topic" and "don't use smileys" it will display the "Attach:" option where you can then browse your pictures on your hard drive or wherever and attach them to your post.
