"Mechanism" NOT "Mechanic" He was really correcting poor Lance on this. Just thought you should know - maybe the professor is right. It's taken on its own meaning in the context of gaming. This is the cool thing about the English language - it morphs.

Still, the definition of 'mechanic' is clearly inapplicable. Mechanics however: Quote the branch of applied mathematics dealing with motion and forces producing motion. could maybe be twisted into usage. It's a stretch. |
